Foxton suffered a heavy 6-1 home defeat, against a very good West Wratting, on Saturday.
The visitors started on the front foot and raced into an early 2 goal lead. Liam then curled an effort over the bar from the edge of the box for Foxton. The visitors then made it 3-0.
Wratting were well on top, with some good play and an overall high energy approach.
Liam pulled a goal back from the spot after young Levi was fouled by the home keeper.
HT 1-3
Foxton started the second half better than the first, but it was Wratting who got the next goal.
Foxton’s depleted squad were put to the sword late on, with the visitors grabbing 2 more late goals and picking up a more than deserved 3 points.
A tough day for Foxton but we move on and go again next week.
